3DA0AO Report

I arrived in Swaziland on Sunday 15th September at noon. I had 100 kg checked in luggage in 4 packs. The customs cleared with no issue, but took about an hour.  I picked up the hire car and drove 90 km to Mbabane. I set the antenna on the following day on Monday. Unfortunately the noise level is S8-S9+ on all bands. The noise is coming from the power line therefor nothing to do much to eliminate it. I can’t hear any signal on CW. Only the FT8 the usable mode. Tuesday, next week I will move to another, hopefully less noisy location and I do hope I will be able to work on CW.

Swaziland and Lesotho QRT

7P8AO went QRT today morning.at 04:09 UTC. There are 7,314 FT8 and 55 FT4 QSOs in the log. The 3DA0AO log contains 3,616 FT8 and 26 CW QSOs. Unfortunately I could not work on CW due to the high noise level. It is a surprise as the previous years it was not so bad like now.

The OQRS and Not in Log online function is opened on my website at ha5ao.com. If you are not in the log please use the online form. Do not send email. All the logs are uploaded to LotW. The 3DA0AO QSL card will be designed and ordered for printing as soon as I get home. Thank you for the contacts.
